With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Duane Whitis of Davenport, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Alvis Whitis and Sondra Kay Seals; and his aunt Vicky Seals-Sanders. He is survived by: his son Devin DeShan Patrick Luskey of Davenport; his brothers, Delario F. Skipper of Marian and Julien M. Skipper of Davenport; his uncles, Larry Seals, Jr. (Roxanne) of Davenport and Robert Horton of Davenport; and his aunt Tina Seals of Davenport.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church (805 Adams St, Waterloo, IA 50703). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at the Fairview Cemetery-Waterloo (611 Fairview Ave, Waterloo, IA 50703).
