She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Miller and Ellen Miller (Malone); her husband James Benes; her siblings, Lois G. Hardin, Arthur "Buck" and Melvin Miller; and her sister-in-law Mary Busch.

She is survived by: her children, Cub Scout, Denny, Mark (Sharon) and Danial Benes; her grandchildren, Kevin (Ellen), Joshua, Tabitha, Maddison and Dallas Benes; her sister Judith Qualls; and her niece Dr. Angela Thomas (Jason).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Honor Flight of the Quad Cities or to St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Davenport.
