She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Barnes and Geneva Barnes (Hamm); her husband Richard A. Wendt; her daughters, Sandra Gitchell, Connie Winters and Debora Hunter; and her brothers, Wesley and Chesley Barnes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wilma Sanders and Roberta Evans (David); and her sisters, Mildred Porter and Ruth Hibbitts. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to her daughters.
