He is survived by: his children, Danielle Velky (Tom) of Waverly and Damon Woolums (Erin) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Jake, Luke Velky, Alexis Assmann (Alex) of Waverly, Austin, Payne, Isabella and Alexandria Woolums; his great grandchildren, Airisin and Lennon; and his nephews, Jim and Jeff Bosley of Ottumwa.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Weerts Funeral Home (3625 Jersey Ridge Rd, Davenport, IA 52807). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family who will distribute the funds to organizations dear to Donnie.
