Donna Jean James Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Jean James of Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on January 27, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Stanton and Edna Stanton (Free); her significant other Kenneth Clair James; her siblings, Fred "Butch", Darell and Linda Ferns (Loren); her grandson Justin James; and her daughter Barbara Annette James.
She is survived by: her sons, Brian James (Jane Creighton) of Davenport and Brad James of Davenport; her granddaughter Meghan Martin (Nolan); her sisters, Diana Willemsen Davidson (Byron) and Sedney Eddy (George); and her sisters-in-law, Peggy Stanton and Linda Stanton. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Schultz Funeral Homes (722 8th St, DeWitt, IA 52742). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church (2363 W 3rd St, Davenport, IA 52802).
