He was predeceased by: his siblings, Dick, Paul, Tom Rudd, Irene Dunn and Marcella "Amy" Jaffe.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Sulser; and his children, Donald Rudd, Jr. (Evelyn) of Wheeling, Allen Rudd (Donna) of Donaldson, Robert Rudd (Susie) of Tulsa, Steve Rudd of Des Moines, Richard Rudd (Angela) of Omaha, Debra Heffernan (Michael) of East Troy, Linda Ponsetto-Cinadr (Ron Cinadr) of Bettendorf, Michael Ponsetto (Monta) of Rock Island and Lisa Ponsetto-Green (Raymond Green) of Hillsdale, Illinois. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Davenport, or the Humane Society of Scott County.
