She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Dickens and Marjorie Dickens (Leane). She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Jennie Gere (Jimmy LaSota), Marji Gere (Dan Sedgwick) and Cherie Gere-Dahlstrom (David Dahlstrom); her grandchildren, Corwin, Asher, Ethan and Johnny; and her son Arthur Pontvianne. She is also survived by her husband, daughters, and grandchildren.
