She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dittman and Rose Marie Dittman (Kundel); and her brothers, Ralph, Harvey, Arnold, Marvin, Richard and Raymond.
She is survived by: her husband Donald H. Rathjen of Davenport; her children, Debra Sadd (Frank) of Davenport, Donald Rathjen (Sharon) of Grand Mound, Denise Jackovich (Vincent) of Eldridge and Daniel Rathjen of LaHarp, Illinois; and her granddaughters, Jennifer Howard (Michael), Laura Nagle (Brian), Megan Swanson (Jeremy), Justine Hines (Jon), Katharine Correy (Tye) and Hope Rathjen.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chambers Funeral Home (130 N 2nd St, Eldridge, IA 52748). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to Holy Family Catholic Church to benefit the Blessing Box food pantry outreach program.
