In loving memory of Darlene J. Hambright of Davenport, Iowa, who departed this world on January 8, 2025 at the age of 94. Darlene leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Darlene shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Darlene farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lance Smith and Francis Smith (Hipple); and her husband Rhea Hambright. She is survived by: her children, Craig Hambright (Jane), Deb Kinnemann (Jeff), Mark Hambright, Brad Hambright (Lori) and Matt Hambright (Deb). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St John's United Methodist Church (109 E 14th St, Davenport, IA 52803). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
