She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Fred Wessell and Helen Ehlers Wessell; her children, Mark Van Hoosier, Paul Van Hoosier, Jay VanHoosier (Amy), Scott Van Hoosier (Babs), Neil VanHoosier (Joyce), Lori Van Hoosier Kruger (Rick) and Anne Carlin Bormann (Rick); her brothers, Norman Wessell and LaVerne Wessell; and her sister-in-law Jackie Wessell. She was also cherished by 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, if you wish to donate in memory of Darlene, she requested remembrances be made to Faith First Community Church or National Public Radio.
