It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Dean Kai of Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on September 22, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Kai and Arline Kai (Burmeister); and his sister Cheryl Loftus (Kai). He is survived by: his niece Michelle Collins (Jeremy); his nephews, Scott Loftus (Angela) and Chris Loftus (Britta); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Trevor Collins, Evan Collins, Tyler Loftus, Hayden Loftus, Kaitlyn Collins, Claire Loftus, Zoey Loftus and Joslyn Loftus; his brother-in-law Stephen Loftus; and his friend Reggie Williams.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Runge Mortuary & Crematory (838 E Kimberly Rd, Davenport, IA 52807). A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Scott County Humane Society.
