We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2024, at the age of 88, Carolyn Holcomb (Davenport, Iowa), born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Carolyn is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Carolyn's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Gilleon and Flora Gilleon; and her husband Billy Holcomb. She is survived by: her children, Robin Blomquist (David), Melody Mossman (Michael), Wayne Holcomb (Michelle) and Penny Hill (Jeff). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Memorials in Carolyn's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
