We bid farewell to Bonnie L. Beechum of Davenport, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 16, 2025 at the age of 82. Bonnie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Davis and Aldeen Davis (Jones); her husband Joe Beechum; and her sisters, Billie Lloyd and Diana Lloyd.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kristi Hughes of Delaware, Jodi Beechum (Kelly) of Davenport, Bobbette Beechum of Davenport and Kristy "Kim" Edwards of St. Louis; her grandchildren, Derrick Beechum, Sydnee Hughes, Traverious Beechum (Shannon), Kyeria Morgan, Kayla Morgan (Alex), NaKaré Beechum, Nasir Beechum, Tremont Edwards (Hollie) and Laneya Edwards; and her sisters, Lee Ann Davis of Des Moines and Penny King of Des Moines. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home (614 Main St, Davenport, IA 52803). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
