He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan "Pete" and Betty French (Leslie); and his brothers, Larry and Dennis French. He is survived by: his wife Diane Eckhardt; his children, Rachel French, Andrea Brown (Raymond), Stephanie Zirkel (Brian), Dennis French, Chad Lenning (Sarah), Tracie Lenning and Austin Bennett; his siblings, Susan Caes (Frank) of Davenport, Gary French (Chris) of Davenport, Marcia French of Davenport and Mary French of Davenport; his father-in-law Keith Eckhardt; and his brothers-in-law, Byron, Edgar and Keith Eckhardt. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
