He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Dibbern and Wilhelmina Dibbern (Preuss); his wife Arlene Schroeder; his siblings, Fred, Verna, Flora and Richard; and his grandson Jeremiah Dibbern.

He is survived by: his children, Ginny Dibbern, William Dibbern (Karla), Eric Dibbern (Tracy), Marcia Canfield (Craig) and Chris Dibbern (Andrea); his grandchildren, Chris, Jennifer, William III, Kevin, Troy, Tina, Timothy, Onna, Cruz, Noah, Cohen, Samarh, Owen and Emma; and his sister-in-law Maureen Sears. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made in his memory to Schuetzen Park, STOP ALD Foundation, or Fairmount Cemetery.
