She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Gottschalk and Helen Gottschalk (Stolte); her husband Duane Ackerland; her siblings, Roger, Ricky, Randy and Barbara; and her grandson Vincent.
She is survived by: her children, Ryan Gottschalk (April) of Davenport, Derek Mayfield of Bettendorf and Carisa Mayfield of Aurora, IL; her grandchildren, Kaela, Aubrianna, Shayla, Mariah, Imansu, Dazavior, Rayna, Ryan Jr., Portia, Hope, Faith and Harmony; and her brother Royce Gottschalk (Lisa) of Lowden. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home (311 5th Ave, Clarence, IA 52216).
