He is survived by: his wife Twilla Geist; his daughters, Amber Grimm (Landon) and Heather Hepner (Tom); his grandchildren, Logan Grimm, Alden Grimm (Jasmine) of Davenport, Loften Grimm (Meredith Cox) of Jacksboro, TN, Maizie Hepner of Dubuque and Charlie Hepner of Davenport; his great grandchildren, Aria and Iris; and his sister Cathy Thu (Greg) of New London, IA.
