With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Annette Pernell of Davenport, Iowa, born in Greenville, Alabama, who passed away on September 20, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Taylor and Eddie Bell McDowell-Taylor; and her son Jermaine Sanders. She is survived by: her children, Ruby Dee Sanders, Lawrence Pernell Jr., Lashawn Pernell and Dashawn Pernell; her grandchildren, Deaundrae Reed, Montel Reed, Damarco Reed, Nyiesha, Jakhai, Brittany, Kiara and Stashawn Pernell; and her goddaughter Tyquandia Reed. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; brothers.
