He is survived by: his wife Sally of Danville; his children, Lori Waldron (Dan) of Woodbine, GA and Tom Porter (Annette) of St. Charles, IL; his grandchildren, Ashlea Hingst, Brandee Elliott (Zach), James Knopp (Chieko), Rachel Gunn, Jocelyn Hornbaker (Cass), Bekah Sandy (Chris), John Porter (Sarah) and Katie Foreman (Samuel); his stepgrandson Brian Waldron; his great grandchildren, Raelynn, Elias, Nik, Robyn, Dylan, Juliet, Alexis, Cole, Cal, Ruth, Nathanael, Malachi, Asher, Ainsley and Eleanor; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Martin, Kenze, Peyton, Bradley and Kace; and his brother Jim Cary of Danville. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren, adored his wife.
