Wanda D. Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanda D. Smith of Danville, Iowa, who passed away on July 25, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Wayman Harris and Mary Cecil Harris (Cooper); her former husband Leonard G. Menke; her granddaughter Audrey Menke of Danville, Iowa; her stepdaughter Kristine Burkle (Jeff) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; her stepgrandchildren, Jessica Rosburg, Angela Bettmeng (Ron), Aaron Burkle, Missy Gleason (Todd) and Kelsey Boyle; her sister-in-law Joan Harris of Danville, Iowa.; her husband Stuart; her children, Amy C. Menke, Joseph Menke and Michael J. Menke; her stepdaughters, Marica Smith and Patty Ross; her siblings, Lloyd "Bud" Harris (Oneta), Mary Lou Oliver (Glenn) and Eldon "Leon" Harris; and her nephew Sam Oliver. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established in her memory for the West Point Presbyterian Church.
