He is survived by: his parents, Melvin "Sox" and Edith Jackson (Hingst); his wife Delores; his children, Kelli Vaughn (Rusty) of Paxton and Chris of Danville; his granddaughter Kelsey Vaughn; his brothers, Gene Jackson (Ruth) of Wapello and Ken Jackson (Rosie) of Burlington; and his sisters-in-law, Jim Yaley (Linda) of Denmark and Gary Yaley (JoAnn) of Denmark. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial to the family has been established and may be sent in care of Lunning Chapel, 2620 Mt. Pleasant Street, Burlington, IA 52601.
