He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Swore and Lida Swore (Kelley); his daughter Judith Irene; and his granddaughter Audra Mills. He is survived by: his wife Helen Swore; his children, Donna Beck (Larry), Linda Lundgren (Roger) and Mike Swore (Vicki); his grandchildren, Eric Lundgren (Charla), Bettendorf, Christine Beierlein (Greg), Rock, Brett Sutcliffe, Lonetta Jackson (Jason), Danville, Susan Swore, Sarah Watson (Nathan), Lance Beck (Angel), Rob Gantz (Beth), Marshalltown, Sarah Cross (Marc) and Mindy Amstuz (Erick); and his sisters, Hazel Hight of Madrid, IA and Edna Metcalf. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; 13 step great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials have been established for Danville First Baptist Church and Great River Hospice.
