With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dee Johnson of Danville, Iowa, who passed away on February 20, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Dee may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Bamford and Virginia Ruth Snelson. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Johnson; and her children, Michael Johnson of Austin, Texas, Joshua Johnson (Brandi) of Burlington, Michelle Warth (Troy) of St. James, Missouri and Johanna Hand of Clarksville. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elliott Funeral Chapel (1 Redbud Ln, New London, IA 52645). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM and at 10:30 PM at the New London Christian Church (2770 New London Rd, New London, IA 52645).
