She was predeceased by: her father Duane Kennedy; and her husband Larry Russell Lewis. She is survived by: her mother Dixie Lee Warren Kennedy; her sons, Shane of Danville and Russell (Susan) of Danville; and her siblings, Linda Kennedy of Los Angeles, CA and Robert Kennedy (Sammy) of Baton Rouge, LA.. She is also survived by four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
