He is survived by: his mother Lula Harrison Schillie of Danville; his wife Connie Jo Schillie; his children, Jason Fisher (Danielle) of Danville, Joseph Schillie (Jenny Welcher) of Danville, Joshua Schillie (Stephane) of Des Moines and Amanda Schillie of Danville; his grandchildren, Chloe Fisher, Brody Fisher, Addisynn "Adders" Schillie, Arianiah "Aunster" Peterson, Conner "Deaner" Schillie, Jace "Rufus" Reynolds and Makayla; and his siblings, Bob Schillie (Delaine) of Waverly, IA, Les Schillie of Danville and Angie McCannon of Burlington.
A memorial has been established for the Danville Fire Department.
