He is survived by: his wife Cherie Ann Delaney of Le Mars; his friend Carol Garvin; his daughter Amy Benson (Tate) of Kingsley, IA.; his grandchildren, Drew Lehmann, Emerson Benson, Dylan Lehmann, Hannah Gries, Preston Benson, Haley Gries, Dane Lehmann and Harper Gries; his great grandchild Kyson Reintzel; his siblings, Randy Sohm (Susie) of Danbury, IA, Cindy Armstrong of Danbury, IA and Fred Sohm (Lynn) of Sioux City, IA; and his in-laws, Kathy Tobias (Phil) of Sioux City, IA, John Delaney (Dianne) of Sioux City, IA and John Dye of Sioux City, IA.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family prefers memorials directed to the Carmelite Nuns or Trinity Heights Queen of Peace both in Sioux City, IA.
