He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Treiber and Doris Treiber (Boeche). He is survived by: his children, Amy Dietrich (Dave) of Hornick, IA and Tony Treiber (Deb) of Danbury, IA; his grandchildren, Colt Petersen, Casie Widman (Dustin), Charlee Petersen, Tatum Moore and Amber Dietrich; and his stepgrandchildren, Kayla Danner (Andrew), Levi Thies (Alex) and Kelsey Tillotson (A. J.). He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren; extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Armstrong - Van Houten Funeral Home - Mapleton (210 S 5th St, Mapleton, IA 51034). A vigil service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Armstrong-Van Houten Funeral Home of Mapleton (210 S 5th St, Mapleton, IA 51034). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church-Danbury (604 Peach St, Danbury, IA 51019).
