Cecelia Patterson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecelia Patterson of Danbury, Iowa, who passed away on November 11, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecelia Marx, (Noziska) and John Marx, Sr.; her husband Glenn "Bud" Patterson, Jr.; her siblings, Dr. John N. Marx, Jr. and Helen Meylor (Pat); and her brothers-in-law, Marnin "Barney" Dierking, John Craig and Dan Comstock.
She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Dierking of Ponca, NE, Margaret Craig of Ponca, NE, Susan Comstock and Nick Marx (Mary) of McCook Lake, SD; and her sister-in-law Pat Marx of Lubbock, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Cecelia's name may be made to the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Danbury, IA or the Siouxland Soup Kitchen in Sioux City, IA.
