She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wieling and Anna Wieling (Fleischman); her husband Melvin "Fritz" Boysen; her brothers, Rev. Raymond Wieling and Edwin "Pood" Wieling; and her siblings-in-law, Bernice Reimer (Al), Helen Meier (Phil) and Edwin Trucke.
She is survived by: her children, Jean Casteel of Gretna, NE, Bill Boysen (Karen) of Alliance, NE, Bob Boysen (Evelyn Stevens) of Battle Creek, IA, Pat Knutson (Tom) of St. Paul, NE, Shirley Boysen of Danbury, IA, Linda Simmons (Kevin) of Mapleton, IA, Dick Boysen of Danbury, IA, Babe McBride (Jerry) of Danbury, IA, Tony Boysen (Mary) of Ida Grove, IA and Ken Boysen (Kim) of Danbury, IA; and her sisters, Dorothy Boyle (Vince) of Danbury, IA and Marian "Cat" Trucke of Danbury, IA. She is also survived by 36 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Alice's name to St. Mary's Parish in Danbury, IA.
