It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Marie Petersen (Dallas, Iowa), who passed away on January 12, 2020, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her stepfather Ted Reis. She is survived by: her parents, Nancy Reis and Merle Petersen; her stepmother Karen Petersen; her sisters, Emily Abbas (Cory) and Mandy Herring (Mike); and her nieces and nephews, Rowen, Crey Abbas, Baylyn, Marlee and Greta Herring. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and other family members and friends.
