We are sad to announce that on December 22, 2018, at the age of 94, Zelda Rose Rittgers (Dallas Center, Iowa), born in Waukee, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her children, Frederick Rittgers and Rosalie Downing; and her brothers, Dwight Hawbaker and Carl Hawbaker. She is survived by: her parents, Daniel Hawbaker and Anna Hawbaker (Wenger); her spouse Thomas W. Rittgers; her children, Keith Rittgers (Ruth Ann), Bruce Rittgers (Virginia) and Alice Cross of Waukee, Iowa; and her brother Duane Hawbaker of Adel. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
