With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michel Himrod of Dakota City, Iowa, who passed away on September 20, 2020 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Michel Himrod to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Himrod and Dorothy Himrod (Palmer); his sister Sharon Himrod; and his brothers-in-law, Dale Johnson (Maxine), Delmar Johnson, Dean Johnson and Denny Johnson (Carol).

He is survived by: his wife Diane Johnson; his child Shon Himrod (Colleen); his grandchildren, Austin Nordstrom, Tiffany Nordstrom, Breonna Himrod, Brittany Himrod of Bemidji, MN and Sabrina Mayer (Dave); his great grandchildren, Madison Mayer of Humboldt and Sonia Himrod; his sister Nancy Strunk (Tom) of Red Oak; his brother-in-law Daryle Johnson (Linda); and also, Jaden Himrod, Jozlyn Himrod, Jett Wheeler of Dakota City, Marilyn Johnson, Joyce Johnson and Donna Kral (Leon).

Lawn chairs and facemasks are recommended and social distancing practices will be followed.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the discretion of the family.
