She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Price and Mary Ann Price (McCormick); her former husband Robert "Bob" Whitney; her husband William "Bill" Schany; and her son-in-law Phil Gunther.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Storey (Tom) of Red Oak, Judy Gunther of Fairmont, Bill Whitney (Bonnie) of Emmetsburg, Iowa and Barbara Thoreson (Paul) of Swea City, Iowa. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.
