He is survived by: his wife Alice Sikora; his children, Steve Underwood (Catherine) of Ringsted and Debra Hines; his close friend Steve Creger of Des Moines; his grandsons, Darin Underwood (Valerie) of Cedar Rapids and Scott Underwood (Nicole) of O'Fallon, IL; his stepgrandson Jason Eygabroad (Gina) of Spirit Lake; his great grandchildren, Alexis Green, Cassie Underwood, Collin Underwood and Gavin Underwood; his stepgreat-granddaughters, Presley Eygabroad and Ava Eygabroad; and his brother Richard Underwood (Benora) of Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of Palo Alto County.
