With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betsy Norland of Cylinder, Iowa, born in Marion, Ohio, who passed away on November 13, 2022 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father William Greenhill; her parents-in-law, Gerald and Virginia Norland; and her siblings-in-law, John and Jerilyn Reit.
She is survived by: her mother Anne Greenhill (Barnes) of Downers Grove, Illinois; her son Neal; her husband Mike; her daughter Amy Funke (Scott) of Rochester, Minnesota; her granddaughter Emma; her siblings, Jennifer Hoskins (Mark) of Bartlett, Illinois, Douglas Greenhill (Kathy) of Houston, Texas and John Greenhill of Downers Grove, Illinois.; her siblings-in-law, Teresa Goddard (David) of Montevideo, Minnesota, Barbara Corr (Charles) of Clinton, Iowa, Patricia Wolf (Greg) of Urbandale, Iowa, Cynthia Norland of Algona, Iowa, Jeffrey Norland (Annette) of Marion, Iowa and Lorelei Patterson (Sean) of Naperville, Illinois; and her aunt Noel Hinde of Carmichael, California. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family requests that memorials be directed to breast cancer support and research through the B the Light organization or the Susan G. Komen Metastatic Breast Cancer Collaborative Research Initiative.
