She is survived by: her mother Theresa Ann Hirst (Dickman) of Washta, IA; her husband Don Joy, Jr. of Cushing, IA; her children, Erin Joy (Aaron Peterson) of Sioux City, IA, Shawn Joy (Brooke) of Cushing, IA and Tara Whitmire (Michael) of Omaha, NE; her grandchildren, Hudson, Grant and Brodie; and her sisters, Leann Boecker (Gary) of Graettinger, IA and Mary Biles of Brighton, CO. She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.
