She was predeceased by: her parents, Jens "Bill" and Minnie Voght; her husband Vernon H. Dau of Holstein; her brothers, Merland, John, Buford, LeWayne and Rex Hansen; her siblings-in-law, Lois, Anita, Viola Hansen, Lou Dau, Clarence Dau, Herb Goettsch and Les Dau; her niece Lori Sokolowski; her nephews, Ronald Hansen, Dr. James Goettsch and Dr. Gerald Goettsch; and her great-nephew Aaron Sokolowski.
She is survived by: her stepson Rich Hefner (Linda) of Cushing, IA; her godson Jason Meins; and her sisters-in-law, Myrtle Goettsch of Williamsburg, Mary Hahn (Bob) of Cherokee and Geraldine Dau Susie of Cushing. She is also survived by three step-grandchildren, seven step-great-grandchildren.
