He is survived by: his spouse Joanie Brown; his children, Elliott Florer (Kate) of Ankeny, IA, Erik Florer, Ryan Florer (Sonja) of Winterset, IA and Jordan Florer of Portland, OR; his brothers, Richard (Judy) of Cedar Bluff, NE and Stephen Florer (Cynthia); and his grandchildren, Wren, Harlan of Portland, OR, Everett and Reilly of Ankeny, IA..
