She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Schroeder and Annie Schroeder (Daniels); her former husband Anthony Jandl, Jr.; her spouse Willie E. Ross; her children, Delilah Peters and Arthur Ross; her stepchildren, James Bulten, Edward Hubbard, Lillian Niemants and Beverly Turk; and her brothers, Harry Schroeder (Annie), Clarence Schroeder (Marie) and Warren Schroeder (Ruth).
She is survived by: her daughter Arnita Ross of Estherville; her son-in-law Marvin Peters of Manly, Iowa; and her grandchildren, Kevin Peters (Debbie), Rhonda Sellergren (Darrick), Julie Peters (Lyle) and Travis Ross (Erica). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
