He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Anderson and Helen Anderson (Akkerman); his stepfather Albin Anderson; his stepsister Norma; his parents-in-law, Edwin and Dorothy Brown; his brothers-in-law, David, Harold Eden and Clarence Klasse; and his nephew Mike.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Brown; his children, Tammy Peterson (John), Falls of Iowa, Crystal Maass (Michael), Barbra Anderson and Ricky Anderson (Amber); his grandchildren, Mandy, Callie, Courtney, Nate, Bradley, Melissa, Christopher, Dylan, Caprice and Chloe; and his siblings, Deloris and Robert.
