She is survived by: her great grandchildren, Cameron and Jacob; her children, Michael Hansmeier of Crystal Lake and Joan Smith of Clear Lake; her grandsons, Richard Smith (Kim) and James Smith; her great grandchild Jackson Smith; and her siblings, Donald Gahan and Norma Burgardt (Joe Dale Julian).
