He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Thompson and Joyce Thompson (Radke); his son Reed Thompson; his grandsons, Bryson Thompson and Baby Moore; and his brothers, Jack and Dave Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Kumsher of Crystal Lake; his daughters, Shelise Hall (Jeff) of Forest City and Holly Moore (Nic) of Crystal Lake; his grandsons, Deegan and Easton; his brothers, Duane Thompson (Paula) and Dallas Thompson (Nancy); and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn DeKruif (Donnie) and Jeri Peterson (Larry). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
