She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Zingg and Helen Zingg (Peterson); her husband Wilbur Hans Sorenson; her daughter LeAnn Anderson; and her siblings, Mavis Holt, Arlin "Ted" Zingg, Dale Zingg and Ruth Charlson.
She is survived by: her children, Katie, Stephanie, Dean Sorenson (Karen) of Northfield, MN and Terry Sorenson (Vicki Allen) of Rochester, MN; her son-in-law Jerry Anderson of Britt, IA; her grandchildren, Sheila Verts (Drew) of Las Vegas, NV, Linda Anderson of San Diego, CA, Katie LaRue (Stephen) of Missoula, MT, Nathan Sorenson of Rochester, MN, Ryan Thorsen of Minneapolis, MN, Ashley Thorsen of Mason City, IA and Jeffrey Groenenboom (Michelle) of Rochester, MN; and her great grandchildren, Natalie Livingston, Evelyn Groenenboom, Nora Groenenboom, Tripp LaRue and Rhett LaRue. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials are directed to the Alzheimer's Association or to the United Methodist Church of Crystal Lake.
