He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Ide and Helen Donelson Ide; his wife Dawn Carlson; and his brother Jerry. He is survived by: his children, Todd Ide (Diane), Laura Hartman (Jerry), John Edward Ide (Lauren) and Michael Ide (Tracie); his grandchildren, Ian Ide, Theo Hartman (Grace), Savannah Suhre (Harrison), Olivia Cutler (Grayson), Eli Hartman, Megan, Ben, Connor, Emma Ide, Truman and Sadie Ide; his great grandchild Adelaide; and his brother William Joseph Ide (Bill). He is also survived by good friends and neighbors.
Memorials may be given to the Mayflower Heritage Christian School or to the Union County Fair.
