With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Bird of Creston, Iowa, who passed away on September 21, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Bird and Opal Bird (Tindle); his siblings, Donnie Gene, Otto Jr., Jerry (Frances), Danny Sr. (Cheryl), Larry, Ricky Bird, Betty Davis and Vicki Connelly (Joe); his parents-in-law, Everett and Alice Fletcher; and his siblings-in-law, Ed, John, Dave, Charles, Larry Fletcher, Karen Magee and Roxie Fletcher.
He is survived by: his wife Patty (Fletcher); his daughters, Buffy Carter (Jesse) of Kansas City, KS and Amy Bird (Duke Bennett) of St. Joseph, MO; his grandchildren, Malaki, Isaiah Bennett, Brooklyn and Ashlyn Carter; his stepgrandchildren, Lance Kelley and Maddie Carter; his siblings-in-law, Peggy Olsen (Ted), Bonnie Fletcher, Steve Fletcher (Jolene), Rich, Tom Fletcher and Dale Magee; and his friend Randy Hiatt.
