It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myra Spindler of Creston, Iowa, born in Crossville, Tennessee, who passed away on December 27, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mark Ewing Harris and Doris Jane Harris (Hurt); her grandson Silas Lee Jones; her brother Rowe Harris; and her brothers-in-law, Harry Thomas and Marvin Leibovich.
She is survived by: her daughter Anna Elizabeth (Matt); her husband Chuck; her daughters, Katie Jones (Daren) and Laura Llamas (Cesar); her grandchildren, Georgia, Esther, Whitaker Harrison, Ruby, Finnian Jones, Alice and Rafaela Llamas; her siblings, Mark Harris (Andrea), Marshall (Felicia), Margaret Wharton and Jennifer Forbes (Scott); and her sisters-in-law, Karen Wade (Don), Valerie Thomas, Linda Leibovich, Mary Smith (Denny) and Debbie Harris. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Crest Baptist Canopy fund or EveryStep hospice or the American Parkinson's Disease Association.
