She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Amato and Grace Carrubba; her husband William "Bill" Hans Schroeder, Jr.; her siblings, Anita Ruffner (Paul) and Angelo Amato; her son-in-law Troy Lawrence; and her granddaughter Zoe M. Powers.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Lawrence of Gowrie, Ann Marie Powers (Kendall) of Creston and William Schroeder of Santa Ana, C. A.; and her grandchildren, Laura Buske, Ashley Thiele (Kelly), Trey Lawrence (Maggie), Trenton Lawrence, Zachary Powers, Jacob Powers (Hallie), Tessa Powers and Ella Powers. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Powers Funeral Home - Creston (601 New York Ave, Creston, IA 50801). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (107 W Howard St, Creston, IA 50801).
Memorials are to the Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
