She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Orlando and Mildred Swantie Johnson (Smit); her husband Art (Platte); her granddaughter Erica June Brill; her in-laws, Bryan and Ruby Brill (Burnham); her siblings, Edward, Clifford Jr. and Elaine Dockendorf; and her sisters-in-law, Ester Girton, Wilma Hildebrand, Fern Fite Wagner, Maxine Brill and Jennette Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Todd Bryan, Vickie Ann, Annie Brill of Bedford, IA, Doyle Brill, Carla Dixon, Hutto, Lori, Cecil Green of Beacon, IA, Renee Brill, Steve Herrera Round Rock and Scott Bohn of Creston, IA.; her sisters-in-law, Pat Johnson, Gillette and Dorthy Brill of Corsica, SD; her pet Rascal; her grandchildren, Barry, Andria Brill, Amy Brill, Eric Caldwell, Chandra Brill, Brian, Tierra, Adam Sterrett, Mitchell McKee, Shelby Allgood, Levi Green, Chico Herrera, Nathan St Pierre, Lex Nathe, Bradley St Pierre, Justin St Pierre, Ashley Nunez, Geoff Bohn, Taylor Hastings, Corey, Kristina Bohn, Scotty Bohn and Zoey Shelley; and her great grandchildren, Kimber, Kennedy Teeters, Braden Brill, Luca Andersen, Taelynn, Kuiper McKee, Corbin, Fraye Green, Emmett, Opal St Pierre, Hayden St Pierre, Kaynin, Mylah King, Atlas Gordon, Reign, Silas Bohn, Lilli, Annalee Caldwell, Jaxon Nathe and Willow Jacobe.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM, at 6:00 PM and on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM. Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A burial was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Old Platte Cemetery.
