He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Young and Patricia Ann Young (Morgan); and his brother Kent Young. He is survived by: his wife Mary Young of Kent, Iowa; his children, Katie Goodenberger (Cain) of Kent, Cory Young (Chelle) of Stuart and Casey Young of Kent, Iowa; his grandchildren, Brock, Cameren, Wyatt, Weston, Carter, Paisley and Carsen; and his sisters, Linda Alexander of Johnston and Nancy Baumann (Fred) of Urbandale, Iowa.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crest Baptist Church (1211 North Poplar Street, Creston, IA 50801). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
