He was predeceased by: his parents, Rick Russell Spainhower and Carla Rae Beavers (Downey); his adoptive father John Larkin; his grandparents, Gladys, Russell Spainhower, Raymond and Effie Downey; and his siblings, Kally Jo Spainhower, Micheal Beavers, Brady Larkin, Mark Larkin and Curtiss Downey.
He is survived by: his friend Chad Engdahl; his sons, Richard Larkin (Montana) of Creston and Randy Larkin (Peyton) of Creston; his grandchildren, Dalton, Cruze, Oliver, Charlotte and Mallory; his stepmother Lisa Spainhower; and his siblings, R. T. Spainhower (Jennifer), Aaron Spainhower (Gina), Dustin Spainhower (Shelby), Tina Lybarger (Gary), Tammy Henderson, Becky Mullin, Lisa Hill, Mycale Downey (Andy Konkler) and Kristi Vicker.
